The Weapons of Creation and Destruction were forged by the Original Ninja force and some unknown Elemental Masters 9000 years ago in Ninjago on Earth-123.

Origins[]
Staff of Power 1474-1721[]
Beginnings Era: 1474-1522[]
The Original Ninja Force, on Earth-123 in the year 1474, created the Golden Staff of Power using the same gold to forge the Golden Weapons. It got it powers from the Original Ninja Force's elements as well as the elements from volunteer elemental masters.
Marlin-Ito Era: 1522-1667[]
Marlin Grayson, then known as Ito the Gray Ninja, had gone mad and became evil and power-hungry, so he used the weapon as usual, but then stole it and ran away after a few years.
Ito's Earth Editor Era: 1667-1721[]
Eventually, the Gray Ninja knew that one day they would find out he took it, so he pretended it was a very different weapon. He called it, Ito's Earth Editor, and he scammed people into trading it. He would bring them to his faraway shop, and use his Ninja skills and powers to trap them there, because he was looking for elemental masters to come instead of regular people.
Ito's Runs Out of Luck: Winter, 1721[]
One day, Ito was lucky, four elemental masters did come, well actually at the same time. The four were the remaining Ninja, and they used their Element Magnets (which were stolen by the Mega Bloks people to play a huge part in the Megabloxian Wars) and permanently took the powers out of the staff and into their rightful owners. They also used this time to steal Ito's powers for 111 years before it would slowly go back to him. Ito then revealed his true identity as Marlin. He also stated that he had a strange box that brings him to a different dimension (a time machine, but he didn't know what it was), he liked the Samurai better than the Ninja (a big problem at that time when the Ninja and Samurai were fighting), and that he will come back for revenge using his time powers.
Staffs of Creation and Destruction: 1818-Present[]
The Powers Relocate: 1818[]
One day, Taio, then known as simply the Green Ninja and now known as the First Spinjitzu Master, was training elemental masters and his sons to be like the Green, Red, White, and Black Ninja (Not the Gray Ninja, they forbid anybody to become the Gray Ninja, which is why all future ninja wear blue instead). Taio told all of the elemental masters and his sons the story of the, seemingly unreal at the time, Staff of Power. He said to fight the villains they will face in the future they must make a superweapon that has the same power of the original Staff. Then Matt Black, then known as Bonsai the Black Ninja, proposed the idea of using two powerless training weapons as the Staffs of Creation and Destruction. Taio agreed because of those ideas and because of the fact that they were recognizable up close and strange from far away. So The Original Ninja Force, the elemental masters, and Taio's sons helped to fill two useless training weapons with power.
