Season 23: Frost Core

Season 23: Frost Core is preceded by Season 22. The focus and mascots are Cole and Zane, the main antagonist is The Overlord, and the Frozen Core Samurai serve as the villainous faction. It is the fourteenth and final season and final installment in the first saga of EGS.

This is the final season to be completely written by series creator EmperorGarmadon.

This takes place on Earth-101, a world where the darkness, Lord Garmadon speaks about in the finale of Hunted is not the Oni, it is past villains from the first 2 seasons of Ninjago Returning.

Description[]

A cold winter hits Ninjago city after the ninja left Knighton. Everyone is happy: Going on snowboards, sleds, celebrating, and having a fun time... But there are mysterious explosive snowflakes that come from the sky that destroy homes. Where are they coming from? Who is making them? And why?

Focus Characters[]

Cole a major role in this season
- He played a major role in Episode 1, and was the focus of Episode 10 and 11. He develops an arc with his mother in this season.
  - In Episode 1, him and Kai were the first to hear about the explosive snowflakes, which was important to the plot.
  - In Episode 4, Cole is the only ninja to appear and is heavily focused on in this episode, when he finds Gemma.
  - Episode 5 is a flashback that focuses on him.
Zane plays a major role in this season.
- He was the focus of Episode 2, 3, and 6 and had a major role in 8 and 9.
  - In Episode 2, he found out where the snowflakes came from and that somebody else has his powers.
  - In Episode 3, he was the focus because he could not use his powers and somebody stole them.
  - Episode 6 is a flashback that focuses on him.
  - In Episode 7 and 8, he finds out who the leader of the Frozen Core Samurai is.
Lloyd a medium role in this season, but gets a lot of attention towards the end.
- He was focused on in Episode 1 when he was getting used to Ninjago again, but he was not the focus of that episode.
- He was the focus of Episode 11, 12, and 13 when he was fighting Harumi in the Departed Realm and convincing her to join them. This was a dream.
