When the TV was turned on, the news channel was being shown. She says that the gamers' disappearance may be due to an explosion, and that the reporters have spoken to Milton Dyer. She says that he is sure that the game has nothing to do with the children's disappearances. The ninja decide they must investigate immediately. The ninja told Master Wu what they saw on the news. He was extremely shocked and asked the ninja what they were going to do about it. Lloyd responds by saying that they're going to investigate by asking the police to allow them to go to one of the disappearing scenes. The ninja then take their vehicles and go to the NInjago City Main Police Station. When they arrive and ask the police commissioner for permission, he gladly accepts the ninja's help and give them a map showing all the disappearance locations. When the ninja drive through New Ninjago City, Lloyd tells everyone they're going to see Cyrus Borg. He thinks the reason for that is the disappearances have something to do with technology, so he wants Borg to help them. When Jay tells Borg his theory, Borg thinks it is a possibility and that the game is very suspicious. He tells the ninja to wait a week later for his thoughts. The ninja go back to the monastery. Six days later, the ninja wake up and decide to eat breakfast. Right as about they were going to eat, the danger alarm rang throughout the monastery. Wu rushes to tell the ninja that there is something bad happening in New Ninjago City. When the ninja arrive at the city, the 'Prime Empire' logo is shown on every single screen. When a small robot walks up to them, it asks the ninja to state their player names and tell it whether they wanted to create their own avatar or not. Each of the ninja state their name and refuse to create their own skin. After that, the ninja get teleported into the actual game. They spawn in the New Imperial City area with no weapons and armor. Both Jay and Zane explain the entirety of the game, like: the levels, armor, weapons and most importantly, the Key-tanas. Then, they suddenly receive a message, which is a shows the first objective - finding the level key. They enter his shop and wants to buy weapons, but Akaru explains that in order to get Imperial Weapons, they must complete the Weapon Trial. After another player failed to beat it, the ninja take their turn and beat it with the highest record. Akaru praises them and give them each a different variant of the Imperial Weapons. The ninja thank him and start finding the level key. After a lot of searching, they find it, defeat the Red Visor guards and enter the next level. They avoid multiple traps, defeat many enemies and soon, the second level was completed. Nya thought the rest of the levels were going to be just as easy, but Jay says the levels get harder every time. Then, they get teleported to the Future Technology Kingdom as their next area. Cole asks when will they encounter the first Key-tana Boss Fight, and Zane replies that it's after the third level. They explore the huge area, receive the objective for the level key and find it. They enter the next level and encounter many dangers. The ninja avoid them, battle many enemies and try to complete the third level. After a long time, they finally battle the mini-boss of the level. Even though he was very strong, the ninja eventually defeated him. As a reward for completing that level, they each earn the legendary Techno Armor. But they all knew what that meant: they were going to encounter the first Key-tana Boss Fight.

Episode 134/6: Mechs and Vehicles[]

After defeating the first boss fight, the ninja get their hands on one of the Key-tanas, and use its capabilities to help themselves complete their mission quicker. Jay said that it was also kind of the fourth level, and the ninja got teleported to the boss fight. Right before it began, Zane told the ninja that the boss fight was called Sushimi's Sushi Training Dojo. A voice announced that Stage 1 began, and about 20 Rat Legion Soldiers spawned in. The ninja used their elemental powers, Spinjitzu and Imperial Weapons to fight against them. The ninja easily won, though it took quite a while. Stage 2 began, and more Rat Legion soldiers came out, with some having more powerful armor and weapons. Some also had special devices to combat the ninja, and they nearly got defeated, but as they not only had the Techno Armor and Imperial Weapons, they beat the stage again. When Stage 3 began, a lot more soldiers spawned in, and hidden traps around the dojo were activated. The ninja had to avoid the traps and fight the soldiers at the same time, and Kai nearly fell into an electric trap. After a long time, they finally beat the stage, tiredly. The boss stage began, and Sushimi spawned in, battling against the ninja with dual red katanas and meat cleavers. Zane got hit and took a long time to recover. The other ninja fought valiantly against Sushimi, and for a moment, it looked like Sushimi had won, but Lloyd powered up a powerful energy beam and took the final blow. Right as Sushimi got defeated, in his place was the legendary Orange Key-tana. The same voice said congratulations, and teleported them to the next area. Remembering what its abilities were, Jay told the ninja that they could create vehicles for themselves. They each created one, except for Zane and Nya. Meanwhile, in the Empire Temple of Madness, Lethandral was secretly watching the ninja, and told himself they would never win. The episode ends with him laughing.

Episode 135/7: Boss Fight Preparation[]

Detailed episode description: The ninja were extremely satisfied with their victory over the first Key-tana boss fight. They also upgraded their vehicles and Kai even added a new form to his mech. They quickly explored the area they were in, which was the legendary Thunderdome. It was a while before the ninja received their level key objective. Until then, they relaxed and used the big open area to showed off their cool vehicles. The ninjas' fans were impressed that they had obtained the Key-tana, but the ninja were secretly afraid of the upcoming dangers. When they received the objective, they looked everywhere for the level key. when they finally came across it, they also found another player battling the Rat Legion soldiers. Together, they quickly beat the guards. Jay recognized him as X-tron Gamer 1234, the legendary gamer who first beat the final boss fight on hard difficulty during the early days of 'Prime Empire'. He was shocked that the ninja had entered the game, but admired their courage. The both collected the level key and entered the fifth level. Since X-tron Gamer 1234 was an excellent gamer, beating the level with the ninja - who were good fighters - was a piece of cake. After that, they got teleported to the next area - the Castle of Ancient Warriors. it was one of the biggest areas in 'Prime Empire', and both the ninja and X-tron Gamer 1234 went their separate ways. Kai said to Lloyd that this journey was getting harder and harder, and that they might not make it through the whole journey. Zane also admitted some thoughts on their mission, but the receiving of the objective distracted them from that. They searched the entire castle and found the soldiers guarding the level key. They enter the sixth level, defeat many enemies, avoid many traps and beat the level. They get teleported to the Volcano of Molten Dangers. Lloyd told the ninja not to worry about the upcoming challenges, as he knew they would win in the end.

Episode 136/8: The Second Boss Fight[]

The ninja have one more level to go to the second Key-tana boss fight. Even though the ninja have already beaten many levels, the seventh level has proved to be very hard. If the ninja beats this level, they will need skills, power and knowledge in order to obtain the second Key-tana.

Detailed episode description: After getting teleported to the next area, the ninja realize they're in 'a freakin' volcano!' (as Jay described). They explored the area and found out that almost all the Ninjago City gamers were stuck at this area, trying to find the super-hard-to-find level key. Most of the fans noticed the ninja and were extremely excited that they could compete with the ninja too for the Key-tanas, but just as the ninja were about to say the real reason they entered the game, they received the level key objective. They said goodbye to the fans and searched the entire volcano. Zane nearly lost a life by almost falling down into lava. After a long time, the ninja finally found it in the middle of the heart of the volcano. They saw another gamer trying to get it on the other side and they raced to the level key on a mini-parkour course and the ninja got it first, entering the seventh level. They fought many Rat Legion soldiers, avoided many traps and had to parkour through many dangers. Both Kai and Lloyd lost a life in the process, and then the ninja had to climb the Cliffs of Hysteria, during which Cole lost a life. They finally beat the level, and got a message saying they were about to encounter the second boss fight. They got teleported to the location, and got ready. The same voice before announced stage 1 began, and around 20 Rat Legion soldiers spawned in, with some black and red drones flying around the sewer area, shooting red lasers. The ninja took a while to defeat all of them, and the beginning of stage 2 was announced. More soldiers came out, with some on turrets and some having better weapons and armor. The ninja took them all out, but used a long time. Stage 3 began, with traps around the sewer area activated and way more powerful soldiers spawned in. The ninja had to use all of their elemental powers, weapons and spinjitzu to defeat them. After that, the boss stage finally began, with the boss - the Rat King spawning in.

Episode 137/9: New Allies And Foes[]

After the ninja get the second Key-tana, their success goes to their head. The most surprising thing that happened on the ninjas' journey is a new friend and scavenger: Scott, and a new type of enemy more dangerous than before: the Red Visors, commonly known as the Lethandral's Army.

Detailed episode description: When the Rat King spawned in, the Boss Stage officially began and the Rat King immediately started attacking. He hit the ninja with his staff and his melee attacks multiple times, but all the ninja dodged it. They used their elemental powers and spinjitzu to battle the Rat King, and he was weakened. He summoned 5 Rat Legion soldiers that were heavily armored. They were sort of hard for the ninja to beat and Nya lost a life. They eventually beat them, and fought with the Rat King for a very long time until Zane and Cole executed a spinjitzu move and defeated the Rat King. What took the Rat King's place when he de-materialized was the legendary Yellow Key-tana. The moment the ninja picked it up, they got teleported to the Forest of Resentment area. The ninja couldn't believe it and congratulated themselves on their awesome victory. Lloyd also said they were getting the hang of this game. They explored the bright green forest and found that most of the gamers had made it pass the eighth level. After receiving the level key objective, they searched the huge area and Jay lost a life when battling a giant Venus Flytrap. They soon found the level key protected by dangerous vines and barely got it, entering the ninth level. The ninja had to use Zane to scan the maze, all of their elemental powers, spinjitzu and weapons in order to get past the Temple Labyrinth. Zane lost a life by getting crushed by a trap, but the rest of the ninja didn't. They get teleported to Terra Kerana as the next area. When they started exploring, they bumped into an invisible wall. It suddenly revealed a medium-sized structure. A hooded man came out, holding a Red Visor SMG. He looked at the ninja closely, then took of his hood and exclaimed that they were the ninja. They were excited to meet another gamer and he introduced himself as Scott the Scavenger. The ninja told him they were on a mission, and when Scott asked him whether he could help, the ninja said yes.

Episode 138/10: Risks And Rewards[]

The ninja prepare for the boss fight to get the final Key-tana, though they think they will beat it easily with their newfound ally: Scott the Scavenger. While the ninja has the advantage of numbers and weapons, the final Key-tana boss fight may not be as easy as the ninja think.

Detailed episode description: Scott asks what the ninja are doing on their mission, and the ninja reply by revealing their theories and plans to Scott. When they finished, Scott was bewildered and asked the ninja that they were sure. They said yes, received the level key objective and started to explore the area. Kai almost lost a life when he fell into a spike trap, but got saved by Scott. They finally found the level key, beat the Red Visors and entered the tenth level. After surviving many dangerous battles and mostly parkouring on many red platforms, they beat the Ultimate Parkour Challenge. Nya exclaims that they were really close to the final boss fight, and will be excited to fight Lethandral. Lloyd said that he wished they were just playing the game and not going on a rescue mission. The other ninja agreed with him and got teleported to the final and biggest area in 'Prime Empire' - the City of Fallen Titans. Many gamers were stuck at this area, trying to find the level key. There were humongous statues and stone spires that seemed to touch the sky. They suddenly received the level key objective and started searching. During the search, Cole lost a life by getting crushed by a falling boulder, and Kai lost a life by triggering some turrets and getting shot. Zane found the level key below one of the statues, but so did two other players. The the ninja and the other players fought for it until Jay got it and got teleported to the twelfth level - Battle of Lethandral's Army. They had to fight waves and waves of Red Visors, including solving a few puzzles along the way. The mini-boss of the level was the Red Dragon. After using all of their elemental powers, gadgets, spinjitzu and weapons, the ninja barely beat the dangerous Red Dragon. As a reward for beating the third-to-last level of the entire game, they all each received two special power ups that they could use against Red Visors and Rat Legion soldiers. The ninja were prepared for the third Key-tana Boss Fight.

Episode 139/11: The Ultimate Challenge[]

They and Scott received a message, saying that they were about to encounter the boss fight for the Pink Key-tana. Kai asked how many lives he has left, Scott shockingly reveals that he only has one life left. Before Kai could ask how did it happen, they get teleported to the third boss fight. They got ready, and stage 1 began. About 25 Red Visors spawned in, all carrying katanas, shields and different gun variations. They were so powerful that Zane and Nya lost their second life. After beating the soldiers, the same voice before announced the beginning of stage 2. This time, a lot of drones and auto-turrets spawned in, both firing deadly red lasers. The drones and turrets didn't run out of lasers, and before the ninja and Scott could beat the stage, Jay and even Lloyd lost another life. Stage 3 finally began, and like before, hidden traps around the lair were activated and the soldiers who spawned in got better weapons and armor. The ninja were tired easily which caused Cole, Zane and Nya losing a life. Scott used his gadgets to deactivate the drones, turrets and traps, which made it easier for the ninja to defeat the soldiers. Eventually, they beat the stage. After that, the boss stage was announced, and the evil Zeuronika spawned in. Cole said it was just another Red Visor, but Jay warned everyone that don't underestimate him. Zeuronika battled the ninja by throwing grenades, using all of his Red Visor weapons and summoning multiple waves of Red Visors. During the chaotic battle, Kai, Jay and Lloyd lost a life. The ninja tried many things to defeat Zeuronika, but they just didn't work. Jay suddenly came up with and idea that Scott could use his gadgets and the ninja could use their powers to supercharge it. They executed the plan and it worked, defeating Zeuronika. In his place, was the Pink Key-tana.

They fended off 10 Red Visors easily, but then Lethandral spawned in. The ninja and Scott managed to dodge his attacks, and attacked him a lot. Using their gadgets, powers and spinjitzu, they quickly depleted Lethandral's yellow health bar, though tiredly. Stage 2 began and 30 rat Legion soldiers spawned in, charging at the ninja from every angle. They were quite powerful, and Cole lost his third life. After executing many powerful spinjitzu moves, the ninja finally defeated the soldiers, but some Red Visors spawned in and attacked. Scott continued using his gadgets relentlessly and defeated the soldiers. Stage 3 began and 35 Red Visors spawned outside of the Temple and surrounded it. The ninja had to fight many soldiers at once and Nya lost a life. Once again using the gadget supercharge technique, they eventually defeated the Red Visors, tiredly. The voice announced stage 4 beginning, also replenishing one of the ninja and Scott's lives. Sushimi spawned in and attacked them all along with a few Red Visors. The Red Visors were taken care of and the ninja had to use all of their powers to defeat Sushimi. Lethandral spawned in again and this time, many traps were activated. Zane lost a life when Lethandral released a giant energy wave. After dodging many of his attacks, the ninja finally obliterated Lethandral's blue health bar. Stage 5 then began and the ninja, Scott were piloting Player Interceptors. They fired at many Red Visor Gunships and Rat Legion Dropships aggressively. They also fired back and Zane, Jay and Kai lost a life. Lloyd focused on destroying the Rat King's Battleship, eventually doing so. When Lethandral showed himself, the ninja had to do their best to defeat the Empire Dragon. Cole lost a life, but the ninja eventualy defeated the Empire Dragon. They then went onto it and fought Lethandral like there was no tomorrow. When the ninja nearly defeated him, they got teleported to the Temple. They decided to combine their elemental powers to defeat Lethandral, but for some reason, they couldn't. Lethandral then blasted the ninja away. He then used some kind of power and opened a bright white portal, he stepped through with his charged staff, and the ninja and Scott barely jumped through.

The ninja have never suffered any kind of defeat like this. Emperor Lethandral's plan worked, and escaped into the real world, now having complete control of Ninjago City. With the Lethandral's Army and the Rat Legion patrolling the city, how will the ninja survive in this apocalypse?

They found out that they still had the Key-tanas, so they summoned their vehicles and went to the Monastery of Spinjitzu. After seeing Master Wu and P.I.X.A.L. again, they secured the Monastery with powerful defences. Back in the city, most of the citizens were captured and brought to the Empire Temple of Madness. Lethandral then ordered 100 Red Visor and Rat Legion squads of 4 to patrol the entire city. The ninja were shocked that Lethandral had defeated them in the boss fight and escaped into Ninjago. Wu asked how it happened, and Scott replied that neither him nor the ninja knew. P.I.X.A.L. scanned half of the city and found out that a few survivors were near the mountain. The ninja used Scott's stealth devices and went down the mountain to rescue them. After they succeeded, the citizens stayed in the Samurai X Cave 2.0. When Kai asked how they would defy Lethandral, Lloyd admitted it was going to be extremely hard. In the city, the Rat Legion and Red Visor squads had already patrolled the entire city once, and as the ninja observed, they knew that they had to defeat Lethandral somehow, someway.

Episode 142/14: Ninja Never Quit[]

After Lethandral declared the Apocalypse over Ninjago City, even the ninja have changed. Their spirits are down, their will to fight has gone and their love for their home. But they realize, Lethandral did not seem like a normal video-game boss, and while they dig deeper into the truth, they remember that ninja never quit.

Detailed episode description: In the Monastery of Spinjitzu, the ninja are still mourning over their city as Lethandral has already controlled the entire city in just a few hours. They still tried to figure out how Lethandral escaped from 'Prime Empire' and why he did it just now. As the ninja were extremely depressed, they didn't bother to investigate further and went to check on the rescued survivors. When they went down to the Samurai X Cave 2.0, they met P.I.X.A.L. It turned out that she was using some prototype drones to survey the city and trying to find more survivors, because the Cave's scan range was too little. The ninja were happy that P.I.X.A.L. was trying to solve the problems, but they were still kind of down and went to talk to the survivors. When one of them mentioned that he would never give up on Ninjago City, the ninja realized they were looking at the situation the wrong way. They decided to examine Lethandral's escape further, and remembered seeing Lethandral with the Pink Key-tana when they got defeated in the final boss fight. Also, they remembered the Imperial Pedestal connecting to some tanks, which the ninja thought was just a decoration. They came to the conclusion that Lethandral was using the power of the Key-tanas to escape, but were still left with a lot of mysteries. Meanwhile, in the Empire Temple of Madness, Zeuronika had just surveyed the Monastery and wanted to assault the place, capturing the ninja. Lethandral agreed and started planning it. At the Monastery, P.I.X.A.L. had just finished repairing the drones and was ready to launch them. The ninja and Scott had to pilot the drones by remote-controlling them. After secretly teleporting many citizens and barely avoiding a Red Visor patrol lead by Sushimi, the ninja rescued seven more survivors. They were lead to the Samurai X Cave 2.0 like the other survivors and they, the ninja and Scott congratulated themselves greatly on their success.

Episode 143/15: The Confrontation[]

With the ninja rescuing more survivors of the Ninjago Apocalypse, their spirits have been lifted and bad moods thrown away. Unfortunately for them, Lethandral and his army have planned an attack on the ninja's home. They will need true friends and powers to defeat them, plus a familiar old ally...

Detailed episode description: The ninja were giving out food and drinks to the survivors of the Apocalypse who the rescued. Jay asked Lloyd what their next move was. Lloyd admitted that he didn't know what they should do and their best shot was to plan an attack on Lethandral's Mega Empire Temple of Madness. They went to check on Master Wu, who said that they must never give up on trying to resist Lethandral's rule. They then decided to go back down to the Samurai X Cave 2.0, and wondered why Lethandral hasn't attacked them yet. P.I.X.A.L. had just finished using the drones to survey the city again and saw that 30 Red Visors and Rat Legion troops were marching up towards the Monastery. The ninja secured the survivors in the Cave, and prepared for battle. Zeuronika and Sushimi lead the troops to the top and readied to break down the doors, but they suddenly burst open and the ninja, Scott, P.I.X.A.L. and Wu came out, immediately taking out a few Red Visors and Rat Legion troops. They battled each other for a very long time, and the ninja used the Key-tanas to summon their vehicles and defeat the enemies easier. When, their only about 18 Red Visors and Rat Legion troops in total left, 2 Red Visor and Rat Trooper Dropships arrived, carrying 15 more Red Visors and Rat Troopers. They continued their fierce battle, where the ninja started to get overpowered. P.I.X.A.L. flew out from the Samurai X Cave 2.0. in her mech, but even with that, the enemies were very strong. The ninja used their 'device-elemental-power-charge-up' strategy many times, and got rid of half of the opposing force. Suddenly, multiple Lethandral's Drones spawned in and shot lasers. Right when the ninja seemed defeated, a voice cried out and Akaru appeared on the battlefield. With his help, the ninja were able to defeat all of the Red Visors and Rat Troopers. The ninja were glad to see him again, and celebrated their awesome victory.

Episode 144/16: Hope in the Ashes[]

Barely avoiding defeat once again, the ninja have fended off the attack Lethandral has planned. Akaru, the weaponkeeper that the ninja bought their Imperial weapons from, has returned as well. The ninja decide to plan an attack to finally defy and eliminate Lethandral, and find some hope in the ashes of their city.

Detailed episode description: After winning against a huge wave of Red Visors and Rat Troopers, the ninja knew that Lethandral would not attack them in a while. They were also surprised to see Akaru come into Ninjago. Scott asked if he escaped 'Prime Empire', would that mean the other NPCs/Imperialians escaped as well. Akaru confirmed this to be true, and wanted to help the ninja defy the villainous Emperor. He also asked what was the situation in Ninjago City. Wu sadly replied that 95% of the population was captured by Emperor Lethandral. Akaru also requested to fight with the ninja once the Apocalypse was over. P.I.X.A.L. said that the chances of defeating all of the enemies was very slim. Master Wu went with Lloyd to check on the survivors. Scott asked Akaru what happened to the Imperialians. He answered by telling everyone that he was training in the Weapon Trial, when suddenly, a red energy wave swept the entire game. The NPCs and players started de-materializing into red digital-particles. It wasn't long before every Imperialian and gamer had disappeared from the game. They all dropped from the portal above the sky into Ninjago City. The Red Visors and Rat Troopers who were patrolling immediately noticed them and were ordered to captured them. Very few NPCs and gamers escaped while the others were all captured. After hearing that story, the ninja and Scott knew they must rescue the sole survivors. P.I.X.A.L. knew the ninja couldn't use the drones again, and asked Scott if he had anymore of his stealth devices. He said yes, but admitted it wasn't strong enough. P.I.X.A.L. helped him strengthen them, and he and the ninja used it. They went to the outskirts of Ninjago City, thinking they would be there. After finding many survivors, they used jetpacks to fly back to the Monastery. Everyone congratulated them on their rescue mission, and were confident that they could definitely beat Lethandral.

Episode 145/17: Lethandral's Secret[]

While the Ninjago Apocalypse is still ongoing, Emperor Lethandral decides to think about everything related to his past and how he became the villain he was today. 'Prime Empire' might not even be where he came from. Secrets of Lethandral and his origins will be revealed in this flashback episode.

Detailed episode description: After the fragment of the Digital Overlord's code was purged out of Zane, it was not truly cleared. It escaped into the ninja's main computer system, finding out everything about the ninja. When it reached the arcade machines, the code started thinking of a plan to defeat the ninja once and for all. That plan included video-games, and most of the ninja's video-games were from one Legendary Games. The virus code then traveled across the network system, thinking to itself that it would always defeat the ninja and darkness beating light. It reached the data center of Legendary Games, and went through every single file. The code didn't find anything interesting, but still resided there for many years. When Legendary Games announced another video-game coming out, the Digital Overlord virus knew that was his chance. After the game was released and named 'Prime Empire', the fragment code waited for a while, then executed its plan. It sneaked into the game and started searching for opportunities. When it figured out the best way to control the game was to take over the final boss, it executed the second part of the plan. It took over the A.I. code of the boss and started to create an energy that would help the Digital Overlord take over Ninjago. After many days and weeks of preparing, the fragment code was ready to execute the third, most important and final part of the virus' master plan. It infused the energy inside almost everything: his staff, his dragon, the Red Visors, the Rat Troopers, the Key-tanas, bosses and NPCs. It was time to finish everything. The Digital Overlord fragment ignited the energy, caused a mega energy wave to appear, and crashed the game. After two years, the code was pleased to see that its plan had worked, and started to leave behind his identity as Emperor Lethandral. Back in Ninjago, the Empire Dragon went to Lethandral's side, to which the Emperor smiled an evil smirk.

Episode 146/18: Forbidden Elements[]

The ninja have fought off many assaults on the Monastery of Spinjitzu from the Red Visors and Rat Legion. When Master Wu remembers about the long, forgotten Forbidden Elements, the ninja have discovered a way to defeat Lethandral once and for all. The first ninja to unlock them might be a little shocked...

Detailed episode description: The ninja had just beaten a mini attack on the Monastery for exactly the fifth time by the Red Visors ad Rat Troopers. Master Wu told the ninja they must be extremely vigilant for surprise attacks like the one they just fought. The ninja responded by saying that's what they've been doing. Scott said he knew they were going to plan an assault on Lethandral to 'pay back the favor', but explained that they were going to need an actual plan. P.I.X.A.L. said she was working on the plan of attack, and unfortunately needed more time. The ninja asked Master Wu what tricks he had up his sleeve. He responded by saying that he could look through the books and scrolls that the FSM had left behind. The ninja and Master Wu went to the Monastery Library, leaving P.I.X.A.L. and Scott to secure the Monastery even more. The ninja and Wu kept searching and searching for things that they could help them turn the tide of the current situation, but the most interesting things were: the Art of Animal Changing, the Screeching Solution and the Foreshadowing of Battles. Both the ninja and Wu were pretty tired and went to rest. The next day, everyone woke up and decided to survey the city and check for any attacks. Wu suddenly remembered about something called the Forbidden Elements. The ninja and Scott asked how powerful and useful it would be, and Master Wu replied that with that power, they could take on an army just with a few people. The ninja all knew this was exactly what they needed. When Kai asked how they could have Forbidden Elements, Wu said they must reach extreme levels of ninja training, do heroic acts and call on it only when absolutely necessary. The ninja started training immediately, and recalling all of the times they saved Ninjago by defeating a major villain. They trained day and night, trying to unlock Forbidden Elemental powers, and knew they would never give up on their city.

Episode 147/19: The New Resistance[]

After many tries to unlock the Forbidden Elements, the ninja have grown tired of secretly training in a secluded Monastery of Spinjitzu. But when P.I.X.A.L. discovers Lethandral's plan to transform New Ninjago City into his own empire, the ninja must find a way to stop him and, just maybe, build the new Apocalypse Resistance.

Detailed episode description: The episode begins with the ninja complaining to Master Wu. When he asked what the ninja were unhappy about, they answered by saying that they had already been training for nearly two weeks, yet they still haven't unlocked the Forbidden Elemental powers. Master Wu said they weren't training hard enough, as they only wanted to unlock the powers but not experience the actual process. The ninja wanted to rest for a while, so they checked on Akaru and Scott. Scott asked how was the training going on, and Cole replied that it was not good. Akaru also wanted to know the progress of the plan to attack Lethandral's Temple, to which Jay said it was useless without unlocking the Forbidden Elemental powers. Suddenly, the ninja received a message from P.I.X.A.L. saying that there was something extremely urgent and they needed to check it out. They rushed to the Samurai X Cave 2.0 main computer and P.I.X.A.L. told the ninja that she had just finished scouting the city again with the drones and found out something important and dangerous. It turned out that Lethandral was going to transform New Ninjago City into his own, personal empire. She also said that he needed the ninja, Key-tanas and an Imperialian. The ninja started to freak out about the situation, but Master Wu came over and said the ninja must keep calm and figure out a solution. Lloyd thought about the former reign of his evil father before and his time in the Never-Realm. The ninja eventually came up with the idea to build the all-new, third generation of the Resistance. Lloyd gathered every survivor and NPC, told them about their plan and soon, the Apocalypse Resistance was formed. Zane and Nya asked Akaru to be their new weaponsmith and forge the new Resistance's armor and weapons. With Kai's help, the new Apocalypse Resistance were ready to take on Lethandral's armies and save Ninjago City.

Episode 148/20: Fighting the Apocalypse[]

The third generation of the Resistance has been constructed, and the ninja plan on rescuing the millions of trapped citizens under the control of Lethandral. While Wu continues to try and figure out an easier way for the ninja to unlock their Forbidden Elements, the ninja must do their best to resist and fight the Apocalypse.

Detailed episode description: After the ninja finished officially built the Apocalypse Resistance, they knew could take on most of Lethandral's armies. Zane and P.I.X.A.L. came up with a plan to take over a tiny part of Ninjago City to secure their success on defeating Lethandral. They sorted the Resistance into four divisions: the Gatekeeper Squadron, Defence Battalion, Recon Fighters and Assault Warriors. Once everyone was clear on the plan, the gatekeeper squadron and drones marked out the perimeter of their territory and expanding the forcefield. Then, the defence battalion and recon fighters sneakily made their way into the city and took over many buildings and fortifying them. Finally, the assault warriors and ninja went to the city as well and readied for battle. The recon fighters found a Rat Legion patrol coming their way and the ninja waited for them. A Rat Trooper on the Rat Legion Battle Tank noticed the recon fighters, and the ninja immediately jumped into battle. They quickly defeated the Rat Troopers, but not before one called for backup. The patrol leader started battling the ninja, but the assault warriors went and took him out. Two Red Visor Scout Speeders arrived in a split second and attacked. The recon fighters also joined in the fight and kept the fight under control. Most of them were NPCs and were programmed to fight well. After a long while, the ninja and the Apocalypse Resistance won the battle, with the Red Visors retreating. They congratulated themselves on their small victory before making sure their were no more patrols coming their way. The ninja explained to the Apocalypse Resistance that everyone should do exactly the same when more battles like that happened again. At the Empire Temple of Madness, Zeuronika rushed to the throne room and reported to Lethandral. He ordered at once more patrols and firepower to make sure the ninja's fighting chance and spirit was destroyed completely.

Episode 149/21: The Flaw in the Plan[]

Ninjago City has become a battlefield for the Apocalypse Resistance and both of Lethandral's armies. The ninja decide they must act before Lethandral can finish the transformation of Ninjago City, and goes on a mission to defeat him once and for all to save their home. However, the fate of everyone might not be so good.

Detailed episode description: The ninja were fighting in another battle with the Red Visors and Rat Troopers after taking back more territory of New Ninjago City. P.I.X.A.L. went into the battlefield in her Samurai X mech and assisted the ninja. Multiple Red Visor Transport and Rat legion Dropships arrived, carrying more soldiers. Fortunately for the good guys, different divisions of the Apocalypse Resistance used different ways to combat the enemies and eventually won the intense fight. Scott asked Zane how good or bad the situation was in the entire city. He replied that it wasn't good as there were three times more patrols and many parts where being taken over by the armies. Additionally, he and P.I.X.A.L. found out from using the drones that Lethandral's transformation was nearly 50% complete. Scott rushed to the other ninja and told them everything. When he finished, the ninja were shocked and decided they must immediately assault the mega Empire Temple of Madness. They explained their plan to the Resistance and soon, everyone was ready to take on Lethandral. Everyone made their way to the center of the city by air and quickly arrived. The guards and hostile drones noticed them and battled. Luckily, the ninja took them out and made their way into the temple. Many squadrons of soldiers were sent to destroy the Resistance. After many intense fights, the ninja successfully navigated their way through the temple and arrived before the throne room. A last squad of Rat Troopers stood up against the ninja, but were taken out. Once the Resistance went into the throne room, Lethandral ad his personal guards attacked. They fought for a long time and the ninja used the Key-tanas to battle. However, more and more soldiers came into the throne room and overpowered the good guys. Lethandral released a huge energy blast that knocked the ninja and Resistance down, with Red Visors pinning them to the ground.

Episode 150/22: Defeat[]

The worst has finally happened. The Apocalypse Resistance, ninja, Scott, Akaru, Master Wu and P.I.X.A.L. has been captured by both of Lethandral's armies. Lethandral's plan to transform Ninjago into his own empire is nearly complete. The good guys must rely on Jay, who has escaped, to help everyone save the city.

Detailed episode description: The episode begins exactly where the last one left off, with the ninja, Apocalypse Resistance and the others pinned down by Red Visors. Lethandral laughed maniacally and told the ninja that his plan would be completed in just half a day, and they couldn't stop him. He ordered the Red Visors and Rat Troopers to put the ninja into the Energy Tanks and the Key-tanas onto the Imperial Pedestal. A Red Visor told Lethandral that there were only five ninja instead of six. The Emperor screamed in rage and asked angrily which one was missing. A Rat Trooper told Lethandral the blue one did. He sat down on his throne, thinking about what to do next. He ordered the Rat Troopers who were here put the prisoners into the prison and the current army patrols to search the city. The Key-tanas and five ninja powered up the transformation machine very well, but it was missing one ninja, and he had 'ninjaly' escaped. Somewhere past the Mountain of a Million Steps, the lightning ninja Jay was running away from the soon-to-be Primejago Empire. He used lighting to fly up to scout the city, then fell down. He was scared and didn't know where to go, but he knew Lethandral's armies were going to lock down the Monastery soon. So, he sneaked in to Samurai X Cave 2.0, grabbed his old Desert Lightning bike with a few essentials and drove away. He decided to the Birchwood Forest to lay low for a bit and come up with a plan there. After powering up his bike many times and driving for a very long way, Jay finally arrived at the Birchwood Forest. He used the 'Minecrafter Way' and set up camp while making a few necessary tools, also setting up a campfire. After a lot of working, he went to sleep. The next day, he used one of the small drones to survey the city. He found the ninja, Apocalypse Resistance and others imprisoned in the Empire Temple of Madness, and vowed to save them, whatever it would take.

Episode 151/23: Awoken Lightning[]

Lethandral, now relentlessly searching for the final ninja, has ordered every single soldier he had to find Jay. After narrowly escaping Ninjago City, Jay decides to seek refuge at Garmadon's old Monastery. Surprisingly, he finds the former Emperor himself. Wanting to help out, he decides to help Jay unlock his Forbidden Lightning.

Detailed episode description: At Ninjago City, Lethandral was still at the Empire Temple of Madness, observing the transformation of Ninjago into his own empire reaching over 65%. He contacted Zeuronika by hologram and asked how was the search going on. The high-ranking Red Visor admitted that they've nearly searched the entire city but still haven't found him yet. Lethandral screamed in rage, and immediately ordered every single Red Visor and Rat Trooper to find the ninja. In the Birchwood Forest, Jay was still thinking of where to go, when he suddenly thought of Garmadon's old Monastery. He packed his things, powered up his bike, and went off to the place. After a long while of driving, he finally arrived at his destination. He parked his bike and went inside. It was very quiet, but suddenly, he found Garmadon sitting down. He looked behind and saw Jay, then asked what he was here for. Jay quickly told the story of him and the ninja journeying through 'Prime Empire', Lethandral escaping and the Ninjago Apocalypse. When Garmadon asked what was the plan to defeat Lethandral, Jay also told him about Forbidden Elemental powers. He recalls about this art and decides to teach it properly to Jay. Garmadon activates a training course for Jay to train, and he beats in on his second try. Then, he asks Jay to recall every single time he and the ninja saved Ninjago from danger. After that, Jay practices the basic movement for summoning Forbidden Elements. Finally, he asks Jay to take him on. They battle each other extremely well, and for a moment, it looked like Garmadon was going to defeat Jay, but after giving him encouraging words, Jay finally defeats Garmadon and he unlocks Forbidden Lighting. Jay thanks Garmadon for helping him unlock the powers, and flies to Ninjago City to save all of his friends. He arrives there, uses an actual lighting bolt to free the prisoners, and everybody, got ready for to fight for their home city.

Episode 152/24: The Last Stand[]

After unlocking his Forbidden Lightning, Jay has rescued the trapped Resistance and the ninja. They immediately clash with Lethandral and his armies, marking the beginning of their last stand to defy Lethandral. During the battle, he reveals his true identity, making everyone wonder: how can they defeat him?

Detailed episode description: After freeing the Apocalypse Resistance and the others, Lethandral was in shock and anger. He told his forces to attack the ninja and kill everyone. They began their epic battle and Jay easily overpowered tens of soldiers with just one bolt of lightning. P.I.X.A.L. called in her Samurai X mech and battled the other mech suits of the Red Visor and Rat Legion armies. Scott used his gadgets to disable to flying Lethandral drones which were shooting red lasers continuously. Also, the Apocalypse Resistance were doing pretty good against the enemy soldiers, because of their weapons and spirits. Unfortunately for the ninja, Lethandral called upon many Red Visor and Rat Legion vehicles, and his personal, intimidating Empire Dragon. The ninja knew they needed to get back the Key-tanas and destroy the transformation machine first. Lethandral soon joined in battle and overpowered many Apocalypse Resistance members. He also used the powers of his dangerous staff to weaken many good guys. The ninja, Akaru and Scott took out many Red Visors and Rat Troopers, but they just kept coming. Lethandral charged up his staff and released a humongous energy blast. Most members of the Apocalypse Resistance were downed and only the ninja, Akaru, Master Wu, Scott and P.I.X.A.L. were still at full fighting force. Lethandral laughed bionically and revealed his true identity to be - the Overlord. Everyone was in shock, and Lethandral stopped to battle momentarily to tell everyone the story of how he transformed from a dangerous digital virus in Zane to the powerful video-game boss escaped from a digital prison once more. He also then pointed out the transformation was nearly complete and there was no point fighting him. Some Resistance members recovered and the ninja continued their fight to destroy the transformation machine. Jay went straight to Lethandral and battled him head on. Since Jay's mastery of Forbidden Lighting was still kind of new, Lethandral got many good hits on him. While he was distracted fighting Jay, the ninja sneaked over to the Imperial Pedestal and tried to pull the Key-tanas out, but Sushimi blocked their way. They fought and defeated him, and pulled two out before Lethndral noticed them. He got hold of the ninja and prepared to destroy them, but the sudden arrival of the other elemental masters distracted Lethandral long enough for Jay to give him the final bow. He then used great force to destroy the transformation machine. After the ninja finished off Lethandral's armies, the city began to rebuild and the Imperialians stayed in Ninjago. As the ninja overlooked their city, they knew that they would be able to face anything in the future
