Early Life[]
Sazia was born to Emperor Hiromitzu and his wife, Empress-consort Yokata. Sazia was born their only child, and though her parents were complete ceremonial figureheads with no real power, they were still very wealthy and private people, and Sazia was afforded a strict education within the palace and wasn't allowed off palace grounds. In her youth, she was fine with these arrangements, though as she grew older, she wanted to live her life like other teenagers, and she felt like a pawn in some game, as her parents never showed her the love she needed and had betrothed her to Prince Kisho Toshi at her birth.
Because of this, she often neglected her studies, and would frequently disrespect and embarass her mentors.
Becoming the Adoptive Sister of Harumi Chang[]
After the conclusion of the Great Devourer rampage, a girl named Harumi, who was six years younger than her was adopted into the family, and though Sazia did not care, her betrothal was severed and passed to Harumi, which she was grateful for. After the adoption, most of the little attention she ever got was shown to Harumi, and she tried to avoid her because of it.
At one point, Harumi scared Sazia by singing the "spider in the house" lullaby to her creepily while Sazia was asleep 3:00 AM. This only made Sazia despise her more
Joining the S.O.G[]
At some point, while hanging around the Oni Temple in an effort to spend some time alone, she discovered the palace catacombs, and found her way to the outside of the palace, and went into Ninjago City, where she would be spending more of her time. She bought commoner clothes and hair dye. Later, when her parents made her bleach her naturally black hair into a platinum white, she simply dyed it orange with the dye she bought in town, which outraged her parents, especially her mother.
On one of her long escapades away from the palace, she met Lilera, the 'Quiet One', as Sazia was instructed to call her. Lilera asked if Sazia would join her underground motorcycle gang-cult, the Sons of Garmadon. Initially, Sazia didn't want to, but Lilera convinced her too after offering her the freedom she wanted. Because The Nije Family owned the Oni Mask of Deception, and she was on the 'inside', she quickly rose in the ranks, eventually becoming the Lily's second in command and Sazia considered her a friend.
Later, her parents adopted a boy who was named Rito, who was eight years younger than her and was proclaimed the Crown Prince, solidifying the Nije dynasty. Some years later, when the S.O.G started rising in prominence, she and the rest of the Royal Family made a public speech regarding the Oni Masks and S.O.G. During the speech, she caught on to Harumi's obvious feelings for Lloyd, and the Ninja were invited into the palace as honoured guests. She had few interactions with Rito during this time, as he was being trained as a model student to her father, and she rarely talked with him because of this.
Planning the Palace Coup & "Joining" the Ninja[]
After the Ninja were set up as guards for the Mask, the Quiet One decided to advance her plans quicker than planned and tasked Sazia with setting up bombs in the catacombs to make way for the attack. Unbeknownst to Sazia, Lily was planning to kill her family, and, despite the neglect she received from them, didn't completely hate them, and assumed Lily would hold them capture or something.
However, when the attack occurred, Hiromitzu, Yokata, Rito, and Hutchins were killed in the fires, much to her horror, though she was reassured by Lily. Harumi had since joined the Ninja, after escaping the Palace, and Sazia was convinced to join as well and started working from within the Ninja to put Lily's plans forward. After the Oni Mask of Deception was obtained by the S.O.G, she would get partial ownership over it alongside Killow.
She would continue to work very closely with the Ninja, while she, Lily, and Tiberius all set their plan in motion. She would only reveal her true intentions when she, Lily, Lloyd, and Harumi entered the Temple of Primevals Eye. Once she and Lilera revealed their true colours, Harumi was outraged and fought Sazia, who used the Mask of Deception against Harumi while her sister used the Mask of Hatred. Harumi and Lloyd eventually lost the fight and Lilera would flee with Sazia and the Temple would flood, seemingly killing Rumi and Lloyd.
The Resurrection of Lord Garmadon, & Serving Lord Garmadon[]
After escaping the Temple, she went to the Temple of Resurrection with the rest of the gang, where they had the resurrection ritual go forwards to bring Garmadon back. However, the ninja and police would foil their plans, and the ritual would be interrupted, and she would be apprehended and sent to the Police Station, where she would be questioned. However, despite the ritual being disturbed, Garmadon had indeed returned, and she would be freed along with the est of the S.O.G. She would resume his position and preferred to stay by Garmadon, and later joined a corrupt Harumi as Garmadon's second-in-command, though, unlike a now-deceased Lily, Sazia remained on his good side.
Imprisonment, March of thine Oni []
When the Ninja returned from the First Realm, the S.O.G tried to keep hold of the falling Empire. Sazia would go with Tiberius to retrieve the Oni Mask of Chaos from the Temple of Fortitude after the Oni Mask of Deception was broken. However, they would be caught by elemental masters, and Sazia would be taken down, and Tiberius ran past and tried to get the mask. After Garmadon was dethroned, Sazia would be trialled for treason, murder, and conspiracy, and was sentenced to life in the solitary confinement of Kryptarium Prison.
Sazia's time in Prison was horrible, even for someone like her and what she did. She was constantly fat-shamed, starved, and bullied by the sadistic guards, and was drifting into a state of being anti-social, due to solitary confinement. Despite this, she remained very loyal to Lord Garmadon. When the Kyrisin- dark Oni-- returned, the Ninja sought out the help of Garmadon, as he was part Oni. However, Garmadon had little to no information on the Oni, and he recommended Sazia, as she had spent a lot of time in the Temple of Resurrection. When the Ninja came to her, asking for her help, she struck up a deal: they bail her out of Prison. The Ninja agreed, even though they had no actual intent of freeing her, planning to send her back to Kryptarium after the Oni were defeated. However, Sazia expected this, and she had Lloyd sign the documents to have her officially bailed out, so they couldn't send her back. She boarded the Bounty and helped them go to Ninjago City along with Garmadon, and was the one who came up with the idea to smash the Realm Crystal.
At the final stand at the Monastery, she fought alongside Faith, Nakita, and Garmadon, even taking a blow for him. The dark magic she had been hit with knocked her out for the rest of the battle, however.
Out of the Shadows[]
After she recovered, she, Garmadon, and Nakita moved to Ignacia Village wear she would become a basket weaver, even if she thought it was rather boring. She eventually got a job as a Shrine Keeper for the Umas Shrine, which was owned by Ray and Maya.

Appearance[]
Sazia is a petite, plus-sized woman with fair skin and naturally black hair that she dyed a bright orange after it was bleached a platinum white. She has pouty lips with a beauty mark above her mouth.
As a Princess, she wore a light green kimono with a dark red uchikake coat that let down to the floor and a red obi of the same shade. She wore a white collared cape decorated with red and green lotus flower designs. Her makeup consisted of white face paint with a deep red blush and red face paint above her eyes, and red lipstick.
As a member of the SOG, she wore a mossy green and black patch-work gi top with black pants, red knee and elbow pads pads and high-heeled black combat boots, with grey shoulder armour. Her hairs was done up in a high ponytail, and she wore a steel headband. Later, during Garmadon's reign, she wore an all-black gi with combat boots and gloves, and wore her hair out and her black roots became visible.
When she was in prison she became much thinner due to the guards starving her as part of their torture. In the two months she was in Prison, her hair grew out more, her black roots becoming more apparent. When she was working with the Ninja, she wore a light grey gi with a black trim and combat boots.
When she moved to Ignacia, she wore a light blue yukata with baggy black pants and traditional slippers, her hair growing out much more and her hair dye fading into a light brown. She also usually wore a rice hat. Once she went with the Ninja, she wore a brown and green yukata with black gloves and boots.
