The ninja visit Garmadon and hear of a "Darkness", which turns out to be the Overlord and some other villains from Season 1 and Season 2.

(The ninja visit garmadon in jail)
Garmadon - Do you remember the last time we saw eachother? When I said, "When they come, Nothing will be left?"
Lloyd - Oh yeah we do.
Garmadon - You didn't listen
Cole - So?
Garmadon - I'm afraid there isn't much time.
Lloyd - For What?
Garmadon - You will see (EVIL LAUGH)
Lloyd - Come on ninja lets go
(they go back to the rebuilt monastery)
Kai - The Monastery is looking good!
Cole - Who are "They"
Lloyd - Who knows? Lets ask wu about it.
(They go to Wu's Room)
Lloyd - Wu? Did you hear of a "Darkness"
Wu - Yes, I have been studying what Garmadon said and I came across a story my father gave me.
Lloyd - Lets read it then!
Wu - Long before time had a name, the dragons fought the oni for posession of my father, the "Bringers of Doom" he called them. They have been taking the realms, one by one.
Lloyd - That didn't explain what the darkness is!
Wu - Wait, I saw some footage from the temple of ressuruction. Lets go see it

Overlord - Since the forcefield is now gone, we can enter this realm and take revenge on the golden ninja and that ice ninja!
