“So, the Key-tanas. What we need to complete our mission. Each of them needs to be earned by beating what is known as a Key-tana Boss Fight. They each have unique abilities, and can really help us on our journey. Many people are gonna be fighting for them, and we can't let them.”
The three Key-tanas are weapons/objects in the video-game 'Prime Empire'. There are the orange, yellow and pink Key-tanas. They can only be obtained by completing a Key-tana Boss Fight.

Early History[]
The Key-tanas were already in the base game in 'Prime Empire'. Originally, the Key-tanas were just scattered throughout 'Prime Empire'. The fans thought it was a plain way of getting the three Key-tanas, and asked for Legendary Games to make another way for collection of the Key-tanas. The company thought for a while, and reluctantly agreed to make another way. They decided to make the Key-tanas obtainable only by completing a Key-tana boss fight. The fans liked the idea of collecting Key-tanas through boss fights very much as it made Prime Empire way more interesting. The changes that Legendary Games announced were finally added into the game as part of the Prime Empire 3.85 patch notes. A few months later, Legendary Games changed the look of the Key-tanas to make all of them possess more key-like elements. The Key-tanas remained the same after that update.
Late History[]
When the ninja sucked themselves into 'Prime Empire', they journeyed through the video-game hoping to successfully obtain the three Key-tanas. Other gamers also were rushing to obtain the them. When the ninja had to complete the boss fight to earn the Orange Key-tana, they succeeded. Not long after, the ninja encounter the second boss fight for the Yellow Key-tana. The ninja, like the previous time, also completed that boss fight before the other players reached it. With a new ally called Scott, the ninja proceeded to the third boss fight with confidence. After they obtain all the Key-tanas, the ninja challenge Lethandral. For a moment, it looked like the ninja had won, but Lethandral sneakily took the Pink Key-tana, which weakened the ninja long enough to open a portal to Ninjago and lead his army there. The Key-tanas remained in 'Prime Empire' since then.
