Earth-87 is the 87th closest earth to Prime Ninjago and the current timeline where Overlord1469's universe of LEGO Ninjago takes place. It can be considered a reboot Earth of the events in Prime Ninjago, however it takes inspiration from each of Prime Ninjago's individual seasons, often adopting the seasons' and episodes' names. The characters each adopt their personalities from Earth Prime. However, events and character development occur at least slightly differently.

Origins[]

As of Season 8 and onward in Prime Ninjago, creator Overlord1469 noticed that certain events and character development were being retconned. So, he decided to make his own take on the series for people to enjoy.

Premise[]

Earth-87, like Prime Ninjago, takes place on the fictional island of Ninjago, often taking inspiration from East Asian cultures.

Ninjago was created by the First Spinjitzu Master using four golden elemental weapons. As evil grows in power, Sensei Wu trains a group of ninjas (Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, and eventually Lloyd and Nya) to fight them with their mastery of the elements. Each season focuses on either one ninja or the whole team.

Synopsis[]

When evil lurks, Sensei Wu trains his Ninja to fight them and save Ninjago before it falls into darkness.

Main Plot[]

The series can be divided among a number of different seasons.

Season 1: Masters of Spinjitzu[]

Long before time had a name, the First Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago by using four golden elemental weapons. They were so powerful that nobody had the power to hold them at once. When he passed away, his two sons, Garmadon and Wu, swore to protect them. However, Garmadon was consumed by darkness and wanted to take the weapons for himself. After a battle between brothers broke out, Garmadon was banished to the Underworld, never to be seen again... until today.

Thirty-five years later, skeleton armies attack Ninjago and Wu realizes he cannot protect Ninjago alone. As a result, he assembles four ninjas—Kai, Jay, Zane, and Cole—to fight them.

Season 2: Rise of the Snakes[]

After the Ninjas' glorious victory against Garmadon, they relax at the Monastery of Spinjitzu. Ninjago is at peace—at least until Lloyd Garmadon unleashes an army of snake warriors that want to reawaken an ancient terror. The Ninja learn they have gone soft not just individually but as a team. Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Nya, and Wu prepare for a fight like they have never seen, and the Ninja compete to discover the identity of the mysterious Green Ninja.

Season 3: Legacy of the Green Ninja[]

The Ninja do their best to help out in Ninjago City after their fight against the Great Devourer. A week after its defeat, its venom reawakens an ancient Stone Army. Garmadon takes control of this army and the Ninja follow him to the lost Dark Island to see what he is plotting, and it appears that the destined fight between Lloyd and Garmadon has come closer than ever.

Season 4: Rebooted[]

Following their victory against The Overlord, Ninjago is at peace and has rebuilt itself thanks to the help of Borg Industries and their new technological advancements. However, the Ninja soon learn The Overlord was not destroyed and recovered in a digital world. He builds an army of Nindroids, and the Ninja have never faced anyone like them, so they prepare for their biggest joyride yet.

Season 5: The Tournament of Elements[]

After Zane sacrificed himself in the fight against the Golden Master, the Ninja have split up to cope with his loss. However, they soon receive an invitation to a mysterious island to compete against elemental masters which also says that Zane is alive. The Ninja go to this island to win the tournament and most importantly discover what happened to Zane.

Season 6: The Second Serpentine War[]

After their loss at the Corridor of Elders, the Elemental Masters and the Ninja regroup as Chen, his Anacondrai, and the united Serpentine tribes prepare attacks on Ninjago. Facing new battle lines and challenges, the Ninja and their allies fight in the Second Serpentine War.

Season 7: Shadow of Ronin[]

Garmadon sacrificed himself to curse all the Anacondrai and the other Serpentine are finally trapped in their tombs once more. The Ninja built a new base on the mountain of Spinjago and continue their training, though Lloyd decides he needs some time alone to cope with the loss of his father. One day, a bounty hunter known as Ronin and his Dark Samurai attack Spinjago, and using his Obsidian Glaive, he steals Kai's, Jay's, Zane's. and Lloyd's memories. The Ninja are forced to spring into action, reclaim their memories, and find out what Ronin is planning.

Season 8: Possession[]

The Ninja celebrate over their victory against Ronin, but Wu eventually greets them with the task of advertising his new tea business. However, that is soon interrupted when Lloyd is called to the Ninjago Museum. Lloyd learns that after their fight with Ronin, a ghost known as Morro was able to escape the Cursed Realm. Morro takes possession of Lloyd's body and commands an army of ghosts. The Ninja prepare for what seems to be their most ghostly task ever.

Season 9: Skybound[]

After defeating the Preeminent, Ninjago is safe once more, but the Ninja soon learn Clouse is doing suspicious activity in Stiix. Freeing a Djinn known as Nadakhan, Clouse unleashed an evil like Ninjago has never seen before. Nadakhan frames the Ninja for various crimes, and somehow, the Ninja do their best to stand up against the rising Sky Pirates.
